It may be raining in London for the Olympics, but the sun is still shining here in Arklow

Climbed the sugar loaf today. Windy but fabulous views. Dinner was fish n chips on the harbour wall. Have now found a telly to watch the Olympics opening ceremony

Today we finally got the sunny weather you have had all week. We had a lazy start after the very early of yesterday, as we had a 10.30 at the RNLI this morning. After that we bad one group out sailing, and the other out on boards and sit on kayaks. An afternoon on the beach for all, messing around in the sea. Curry night back at base, and comparing tans

Scouts quietly relaxing before the cubs descend on us tonight.

Internet not good. Wifi nearly non existant. We are all still great here, picked up Jamie safe and sound on O'Connell bridge this morning. Dublin is overcast but warm. Will attempt another post before we leave Dublin, and will try later. All having a great time. Ireland is good for everyone.

Monday morning

After driving up yesterday in bright sunshine, it is a little overcast in Holyhead this morning. Still, we are on time for the ferry, sea conditions: rough.

All in Mill safe n sound

We arrived at Coetmoor Mill at around 5pm. Fabulous swim in Llyn Idwal on the way.

Minibus ready to be packed. All I need now is to get the Explorers together to load all their bags in the morning. Don't forget, pack light and see you at 10am.

A letter was sent to all today giving most of the details for the upcoming Ireland trip. There will be a meeting on the 12th for all.
